Charming. Sweet. Kind. Such is the innkeeper of the warm and inviting Mast Farm Inn. The Inn stole our hearts and so did Sandra Deschamps Siano. My husband and I were enveloped with such warm, inviting graciousness, we can’t believe customer service like this still exists. We shake our heads in amazement every time we reminisce about our stay.

What makes the quintessential innkeeper? Maybe it’s that every effort to ensure a wonderful guest experience is made with thoughtful attention to detail. Perhaps it’s at dinner as Sandra wends her way among the beautifully appointed tables to speak with each and every guest as if greeting old friends. Maybe it’s the charming Frenchness of it all, the way she, her mother Marie-Henriette and sister Danielle interact with staff, guests and each other, like part of a very special family. We feel lucky to be a part of it.

Engaging, Generous. Lovely. All describe Sandra, her family and the beautiful Inn. The cuisine is tantalizing, the setting elegant, yet full of rustic charm. An unrivaled experience made even more beautiful by Sandra and her family’s attentive, sweet natures, their artistic and creative spirit. It is clear to us that there is Joie de Vivre in the mountains of North Carolina.

Not only will we be back, but we’ll be singing the praises of Sandra, the Mast Farm Inn and the village of Boone to everyone we encounter.
